Man is compensated after an accident at work
A man has been compensated with a six figure sum of compensation after he sustained personal injuries in a life altering accident.
The man, who is in his late fifties, was employed as a reception assistant. His duties however also involved inspecting delivery vehicles. During one inspection he asked the driver of a vehicle to remove a curtain so he could continue his duties.
The driver was unable to keep the curtain up and it slipped from his hands, causing it and the metal bar it was attached to, to drop on the man’s head.
